Age Action is Ireland's leading charity promoting positive ageing and better policies and services for all older people and through advocacy work to secure the rights of older people.
U3A Ireland is a project within Age Action Ireland. Each U3A group is a self-help learning cooperative and provides opportunities to pursue learning - not for qualifications but for fun. It draws on the knowledge, experience and skills of its own members to organise and provide interest groups at a time and place convenient to all. A group can be as small or as large as you would like and it is up to the group what interests/areas they wish to pursue.
