If you seem to be forever fighting that one-eyed intruder that's insinuated itself into your life, and are forever ringing a friend to ask for help in getting it to do what you want, there's an amazing little program called Crossloop which can bring you assistance on line..
You and your friend both need to install Crossloop on your computers. then s/he will be able to see your screen and operate your computer remotely to diagnose and repair your problems..
Don't worry too much about handing over your personal details or control. Crossloop generates a random access code for each session and it works only for that session. In other words you don't need to worry about anybody coming on line while you're sleeping and looking at your personal files.
To download Crossloop you need to visit their site HERE and click on the "Download" button. It's a small file and won't take long. Then, the good news is that it's a snap to use.
Once you have the program installed on both computers each person clicks on the the Crossloop icon on their desktop and, from the window which appears, one opts to be the Host, the other opts to Join. The Host window displays the twelve digit code which must be phoned to the Join user. Then both are connected, but need to click “Allow” before full access is available. Either party can control the action or view the other's screen, and you can swap control at any time.
CrossLoop also allows files to be transferred to and from either computer and, should you wish, you can even play games together. Make no mistake, though: this isn't about playing games—it's serious help laid on whenever you and your friend arrange a time to get together.
