When I was a very small boy, and still a non-swimmer, I fell into a river. My (much older) sister was nearby and I began to whisper "Help! Help!" trying to attract her attention, but was too embarrassed to call out loudly in case somebody else heard too. Embarrassment is very real, and sometimes dangerous, when you're young.
Getting help when you need it on your computer is as simple as pressing the F1 button. In most situations will either display detailed instructions or brief descriptions of the controls. The help has a search feature, too, allowing you to find desired information by typing in a keyword. It's help without embarrassment and you don't even have to whisper.
You can also access help by click on the Help menu on your software, but F1 will do it every time.
