If you enjoy doing jigsaw puzzles here are a few on line puzzles you might like. One is of old Penrith when the post office was on High Street, just east of Memory Park; the second shows the rowing course at Penrith Lakes; and the third will rekindle memories for anybody who looked forward to getting home at the end of a long day at work.
To use them you only need to click on the picture. You will be taken to the Jigzone site where the puzzle will be displayed as a "48 piece classic cut". That is, 48 pieces cut the way jigsaw puzzles have always been cut.
One of the Jigzone advantages is that you don't have to accept what you are given. If you click on "Change Cut" in the menu at the left of the puzzle you will be able to change both the number of pieces displayed and their shape. So you can have anything from an extremely simple six piece classic to a monster 247 triangle puzzle. If you don't want either classic or triangle shapes you can have wavy lines, birds, lizards, swirls and, believe it or not, Euros. If you can't work it out there's an "Auto Solve" button to click so your computer can do the work.
Have fun and, oh yeah, don't forget to stop for the occasional meal...
