We at U3A Nepean have been given a course CD which is freely available to members. The details are shown below. If you would like to study any of the courses on the CD you may borrow it from the office. It can be found in Alan Lees's pigeon hole.

The courses on the CD are:

Personally I'm going to make a bee-line for the last one. Omar and I are very old friends and I'd like to know a little more about him, and his translator, Edward Fitzgerald.

The following letter from Mel Davies, Manager of the Network NSW Resource Library and Jan Bennett, their editor was received with the disk.

Dear Course Coordinator and U3A Colleague,
Jan Bennett and I would like to introduce you to the U3A Network NSW Resource Library. Enclosed you will find a CD containing four of the courses which we have on offer.

The items on the disk are:
Seven Wonders of the Ancient World,
Six Wives of Henry VIII,
Matthew Flinders, and Omar Khayyam.

These presentations take the form of both power point and word documents. Hints on how to use the sessions are included with each course but your U3A is welcome to use the items in any way it chooses, to suit its individual needs.

To see all the resources available (so far) in the Library you may like to check the library website and see for yourself. We hope you will enjoy what we have to offer.

Best wishes in your efforts to provide stimulating learning experiences for your members.

                    —Jan and Mel
