Patsy Billing was born and grew up in Sydney. As a child she learned to play piano but says, perhaps a little modestly, that she was not a gifted pianist. Nevertheless, it was at this time she developed her appreciation and love of music.
Patsy trained as a nurse at St. Vincent's Hospital.
She has travelled extensively and her current favourite country is the United States where she has recently discovered Chicago – "a wonderfully cultured city". She hopes to return there soon.
Her CD collection has expanded since her latest trip to the USA as the variety there is so vast.
To her Musical Memories class Patsy brings a little of all the people she is.
