Tutors Needed – Katoomba/Blackheath

During the week we received an email from Jenny Hughes of Blackheath. She raises some very interesting points. Following are the salient points.

• Jenny is a long-time U3A member who has enjoyed U3A classes in many Australian states.
• New classes of all descriptions, as well as socials, are needed for our members and potential members in the area from Leura to Mount Victoria.
• Jenny has met a number of intelligent, articulate people who would benefit from these classes. They would also strengthen our presence in the area.
• Our older members find difficulty travelling from the upper Blue Mountains to classes at Springwood and Penrith, especially during the colder weather.
